Anyone with a turbo powered car will eventually need to repair or replace their turbocharger. On our 1993-95 RX-7's, we have two to contend with. Do we keep the original system or go with something more modern? With so much confusion out there in the single turbo market, we decided to start with a clean sheet approach and build an ideal turbo system that anyone can own. The goal was to build a turbo system that would give the owner the wide power band of the twin-turbo with the simplicity of a single.

We started with the highly respected ball bearing Garrett GT3582R turbo and added a TiAL stainless steel 1.04 A/R turbine housing. From this beginning, we fabricate a tig welded all-stainless manifold with mandrel bent tubing that has no risk of cracking. Wastegating is handled by a 44mm TiAL MVR unit plumbed it into a 304 stainless 3.0”dia downpipe. Our downpipe also includes the novel feature of a true bellow connection midstream to make sure there is flexibility in the exhaust without adding a potential fatigue point. The wastegate connection is flex jointed as well to make assembly and thermal growth issues a thing of the past. Look closely and you will see that all the connections are v-banded. No more gasket failures, hardware problems and bulky flanges.

For those needing to pass emissions, this system is definitely for you. It is the only turbo kit made today that has the ability to run the factory air pump and all other emission components. Included in the kit is a compressor charge air tube that makes an easy connection to the factory or most other standard mounted intercoolers. Of course all needed nuts, bolts, hoses, air filter and thermal protection is included. Look and compare. We know you'll be impressed.
