Anyone who removes their upper manifold to service their FD3S RX-7 should have this item. It is far too easy to accidentially drop hardware into the intake manifold while servicing the car. To avoid this, we install one of these safety plates once the upper manifold is off. These 4.5mm thick aircraft aluminum plates have been boldly powder coated red to show they are there.
